Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings at Wildura (“we”, “us”, “our”) made by guests (“you”, “your”). By making a booking, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below, our House Rules, and any additional information provided before or during your stay. Wildura is registered with the NSW government as a hosted short-term rental accommodation (STRA) with registration number: PID-STRA-81063. As such all guests must adhere to section 2.5 of the STRA code of conduct.

 

1) Booking & Guest Details

• All bookings must be made by a person aged 18 years or older.

• The person who books is responsible for all guests in their group.

• You must provide accurate guest numbers and details at the time of booking.

• Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded at any time.

• We aim for all bookings to be confirmed with 48 hours of submission.

• The name, address, date of birth and contact number or email must be provided for each guest so details can be checked against the NSW STRA exclusion register

 

2) Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in from 2pm | Check-out by 10am


• Early check-in or late check-out may be available by request, but is not guaranteed.

• Guests must leave the property in a tidy condition at check-out.

 

3) Payments

• Bookings are confirmed in full once full payment has been received.

• Payment can be via direct bank transfer or PayPal.

• Any 3rd party payment provider costs are to be bourn by guests.

• Rates are subject to change until the booking is confirmed in full.

• Prices shown are inclusive of GST.

 

4) Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival may be refunded in full (minus any payment provider costs)

• Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival may forfeit part or full payment.

• Early departure or no-show is non-refundable.

• Date changes are subject to availability and may incur fees.

• If any guests are on the NSW STRA exclusion register, the booking will be cancelled.

• If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, safety issues, bush fires etc), we will offer a full refund or alternative dates.

 

5) Property Access & Vehicles

• Given our remote location, access is best suited to AWD or 4WD vehicles.

• 2WD vehicles should avoid entering the property, especially during wet conditions.

• Roadside parking is available at the bottom of the driveway.

• Pick-up from the bottom of the driveway may be available by arrangement.

• Guests are responsible for any vehicle damage or recovery costs.

 

6) Shared Spaces (House Guests)

• House guests have access to shared spaces (as listed in the booking description), such as the bathroom, kitchen, living areas, and veranda.

• Please respect other guests and keep shared areas clean and tidy after use.

 

7) Quiet Enjoyment & Respect

• Wildura is a peaceful home environment. Quiet hours apply (times provided in House Rules).

• Parties, events, and disruptive behaviour are not permitted.

• We reserve the right to end a stay early without refund if behaviour is unsafe, disrespectful, or breaches these terms.

 

8) Visitors

• Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless we approve visitors in advance.

 


9) Camping Conditions (BYO Setup)

• If you book a camping stay, camping is bring-your-own tent and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

• Guests must camp only in the designated area.

• Availability is restricted to Max 2 tents, Max 2 consecutive days per stay Max 60 days total in any 12-month period.

• Toileting must be hygienic and respectful, you will need to bring your own portable toilet and shower.


• All rubbish/waste must be taken with you (pack in / pack out).



 

10) Fire Safety & Fire pit usage

• Fire safety is taken seriously.

• Fires are only permitted in the fire pit provided if explicitly approved and under safe conditions.

• Total Fire Ban rules must be followed at all times.

• We may restrict fires at any time due to weather or safety.

 

11) Wildlife, Nature & Property Hazards

• Wildura is a rural property and includes natural hazards such as uneven ground, insects and wildlife, slippery surfaces during wet weather, and creeks or water hazards.

• Guests stay at their own risk and is for adult use only.

 


12) Damage, Loss & Cleaning

• Guests are responsible for damage they cause to the room, furnishings, or property.

• Guests are responsible for extra cleaning required due to unreasonable mess.

• Guests are responsible for loss of keys or property items.

• We may charge for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning if needed. 



 

13) Smoking & Drugs

•Smoking is not permitted at Wildura.


• Illegal drugs are not permitted either.



 

14) Pets

• Pets are not allowed. Wildura is a Land for Wildlife registered property.


 

15) Weather & Access Changes

• As a rural property, access conditions can change quickly with weather.

• We may recommend postponing travel for safety, restrict access to certain areas, or cancel stays if conditions are unsafe. 



 

16) Working Property
•Wildura is a working rural property. From time to time we may be carrying out maintenance or small projects around the land (such as gardening, repairs, or general property upkeep). We’ll always do our best to keep noise and disruption to a minimum and respect your privacy and quiet enjoyment.


 


17) STRA Compliance (NSW)

• Wildura operates in accordance with NSW Short-Term Rental Accommodation requirements and the NSW Code of Conduct. 


STRA Registration: PID-STRA-81063.

• Guests agree to follow guest limits, quiet enjoyment obligations, and respectful behaviour expectations. 



 

18) Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guest belongings.

• Guests accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their group during their stay.

• Wildura is not responsible for injury, loss, damage or inconvenience caused by weather events, fire bans, power outages, wildlife, or any situation beyond our control.



 

18) Privacy

• We respect your privacy. Any personal information provided is used only for booking and hosting purposes. 



 

19) Contact

• If you need assistance during your stay, please contact us directly. We are available during ordinary office hours and in case of an emergency on 0490 089 676. 



 

20) Complaints & Dispute Resolution

• If you have any concerns during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly and fairly. We aim to respond promptly and work with you in good faith to find a practical solution.


• If a matter cannot be resolved directly, you may escalate the issue or lodge a complaint with NSW Fair Trading in line with the NSW Short-Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) Code of Conduct.
